Featuring long time collaborator Face-T on vocals, "Why" sees the insanely versatile producer strip things back to a minimal, stark bashment beat. Simple, yet heavy - the pulsing bass and 808s give it more than enough bump to work the dancefloor as the vocal hook works its way into your mind.

From tropical, soca and dancehall to afro and electro influences - Poirier's gamut runs deep. With a full album coming later in the year for the label, this is only the beginning.
